Art Deco Classical Residence, Bellevue Hill

This was once a dark and unwelcoming old building; originally two apartments that had been converted to a house in the 1980’s. It had some redeeming features, which were to become the starting point for the new design. Our clients sought a Sydney architect who could provide something traditional, but still “young” and fun. The result is a glamorous space that is still very easy to live in. The fabulous ...open plan kitchen renovation is a highlight, as well as the enchanting sweeping staircase. The luxe home decor, a collaboration between Michael Bell Architects and interior designers Thomas Hamel & Associates, combines both vintage and modern furnishings and wall art.
