Darling Point Townhouse
Architecture by Michael Bell Architects in association with Michael Suttor Architect. When our busy professional clients purchased this property in leafy Darling Point it was tired and in need of an external facelift as well as being too exposed to the street for their young children. New render, windows and front door gave it the fresh lift it needed, and privacy was achieved with new planting, walls, and fences. ...Internally the floor plan was re-arranged to provide more open spaces and better flow of movement throughout the home. A large dressing room was important to hold our client’s extensive fashion wardrobe. A valuable upper-level terrace was achieved, accessed via two bedrooms. Additional outdoor retreat spaces are always a welcome addition for a growing family! Almost every surface was re-finished, and timber floors replaced. New wall panelling was added and repeated in marble in the glamorous bathrooms, which also feature unique floor tile arrangements. With such busy lives, this home truly is a sanctuary within the city for the lucky owners
