Federation Heritage House, Centennial Park
The owners of this beautiful, heritage listed Centennial Park house engaged us to restore the rear so as to be in keeping with the front of the house to provide significantly increased amenities and usability for the lifestyle of a young family. We were able to reconfigure the spaces, resulting in a large yet casual, open plan living area opening to a covered outdoor entertainment space. There is a new extended kitchen renovation and dining that also opens to the outdoor area, and a new powder room. Outside, a new separate garage has been designed to sit comfortably within the existing neighbouring buildings, but also provides for guest ...accommodation above. There is a fabulous new swimming pool and landscaped garden that the whole family and guests can enjoy. The decor and finishes of the modern extension are intentionally more contemporary than the original front part of the old house. They were required to be comfortable and robust enough to withstand the day to day life of a young family, yet beautiful enough to entertain in.
